Larry O'Brian, a successful Hollywood producer,arrives in Los Angeles to start a motion picture company. He soon buys an old studio which has been unused since the days of the silent movies. Upon the inspection of the premises, he is shown the office where the famous director Franklin Farrara was shot. The case has never been solved up to now, although there were many suspects. O'Brian becomes so fascinated by the subject that he decides to shoot a movie about it. He starts on his own to investigate and soon gets into danger !
